Pihanakalani - the Real Time Sanctuary
The Hawaiian word
"Pihanakalani," can be interpreted as either "the place where heaven
meets the earth" or "gathering place of high supernatural beings."
Both of these translations suffice to describe the magic of this
place of sanctuary we are so blessed to be able to steward here on
the Isle of Kaua'i [aka The Garden Isle]. Each of these two interpretations, in
fact, seem to point to a major function of Spirit Heart Sanctuary
itself. "The place where heaven meets the earth" speaks to pure
being, the interpenetration of harmonics within a wide range of
frequencies, harmonious integration and the unity of the cosmos, a
MINISTRY OF DIVINE PRESENCE.
"Gathering place for high supernatural beings"
speaks to the fluid exchange of energies between different energy
domains. In other words, it describes an energetic dynamic that
invites and supports interaction between various levels of awareness
for the benefit of all beings and/or specific spiritual purpose. In
such a space, the highest level of awareness informs or infuses the
more limited forms of awareness at whatever capacity they can
assimilate. The energies of the Pihanakalani Sanctuary aina [land] and the higher dimensional matrix of Spirit Heart
Sanctuary form a sacred union here, a marriage that allows Illumined
Awareness to infuse the magnetic field of the earth at this locale
and magnetically summons souls that it may serve into its fold.
Thus, Pihanakalani Sanctuary is the sacred physical space with
real-time aina [land] that is a grounding vessel and home for Spirit
Heart Sanctuary.
The energy of the aina [land] at Pihanakalani
Sanctuary is unusual in that has two Blue Fire Celestials [celestial
meridians] that intersect upon it. This creates a whorl of energy
that carries sentient and conscious beings into a deeper spiritual
transport, thus aiding immensely in the objectives of any serious
spiritual retreat.
The main Blue Fire Celestial originates near the
summit of Mt. Wai'ale'ale and winds down the north fork of the
Wailua River into the sea. It disappears from our space-time about
12 miles offshore of Kaua'i just as suddenly as it appears near the
summit of Mt. Waia'ale'ale. Blue Fire Celestials enter our
space-time and then abruptly leave. They are very different than
earth's ley line energies or other magnetic lines of force on the
planet. However, the Blue Fire Celestials will modulate upon these
other earth energies and flow along with them once they have entered
the earth's third dimensional matrix. We can share more about these
energies when you are here with us experiencing them directly.
Spirit Heart Sanctuary welcomes you to come and spend time here in this sacred energy space
to accelerate your spiritual path and journey. The
energy of the aina on Kaua'i is in and of itself a powerful
spiritual dynamic to be experienced. The balance of yin-yang
energies here is quite good, therefore the Goddess is very much
alive and in equal partnership with her Divine Reflection. The
higher dimensional energies being actively anchored and worked with
here in conjunction with the Illumined Ones who ultimately created and guide
this Station of Light [Spirit Heart Sanctuary] through us add immensely to the
power of Spirit which can be experienced here at the Pihanakalani
Sanctuary.
We [Maia and Simeon] live what we call a
"responsive life." We strive to live entirely in spontaneous and
authentic response to Spirit and the subtle celestial energetics
that form the body of Spirit in the universe. The implications of
living this way are vast. We recognize that many people are
currently endeavoring to live an entirely responsive life. We have
accomplished this to a fairly high degree after many years of
dedicated effort. Our current commitment is to make
the example of our daily lives be a teaching unto itself. When you
engage a spiritual retreat at Pihanakalani Sanctuary you will find that
we are
VERY PRESENT for you, but in a way that respects your needs and
inner guidance. We have a depth of experience in helping others to
take their own inter-dimensional communications, connections and
inner guidance to entirely new levels of manifestation.
While interacting with us don't be surprised to
find that we may spontaneously bring through higher dimensional
perspectives as well as deep insights into the problems associated with
embodying the cosmic energies of Spirit and Soul, and in integrating
those energies associated with the initiatic path. We also frequently
help our retreatants to access the next level of higher-dimensional
healing energies to facilitate their transformational and healing processes. We share our home and sacred space with you
as friends, and provide a safe space for you to open up to higher
dimensions of awareness and beingness. We will serve as your guides and wayshowers when needed, and revel in your self-revelations and
realizations, thereby providing you with validation,
acknowledgement and acceptance, something we all need in a world
starving for Spirit. Equally, you also can be silent and
reclusive if you feel so guided. Whatever your path is, regardless
of how far you have come, we strive to emulate Spirit and meet you
there.
No two people are the same. There are similarities
in the spiritual process that all souls go through on their
evolutionary journey, yet the means by which these processes unfold
can be as unique as the persons themselves. This is one way that we
exemplify our dedication to living a responsive life while in
service to others. We stay open
to whatever avenues Spirit is moving within for you. We align
ourselves to your self-directed avenues and work with you along
those lines rather than imposing an externalized structure of our
own upon you.
There is a time and a place for externalized
structures, they serve a purpose. However, our external
structure here at Pihanakalani Sanctuary is very loose in our
self-guided retreats. Self-guided retreats take the
simple form of entering into a commitment with a very sacred
energy space, of opening to deeper mysteries
of Spirit, of helping you to integrate and embody more of your
Divine Self. In the future when we offer retreat packages, we
will seek to maintain this spontaneity while at the same time
offering some definite higher-dimensional protocols for you to work
with.
We are additionally both live-food vegans following the
protocols and work of Dr. Gabriel Cousens, so we can also share our
knowledge about live food cuisine, possibly share some of our scrumptuous
and nutritious meals with you, and share information on how live
food can benefit your spiritual process as well as your health. For
starters, you can start your day by walking upon the grounds and
picking fresh fruits. We have jabon, oranges, lemons, limes, kumquats, bananas,
papaya and coffee beans mature now, and starfruit, lychee and
avacados for the future.

A very sacred mountain which was a 15,000 foot active volcano in Lemurian times. You are looking straight into the famous crater area from Pihanakalani Sanctuary.
The Aloha Guest Room is on the first floor, our home and offices are on the second floor.
Sacred stones and pottery shards from sacred places all over the planet have their home here. At the base of the green vase there are 8 sacred spheres [with a story]. In the main building Spirit Heart Sanctuary maintains many altar spaces. This is an overview of the main altar. The object on the right is a large ceremonial Digeridoo made in Hawai'i. Ancient artifacts such as sphinxes, bracelets, pottery and a statue gifted from a private collection that originated near the Sea of Galilee. The foundation stone of the Temple. On the left an ancient ceremonial stone mask. In the center, an ancient baptismal bowl made from solid coral with the painting of a dove still visible inside it. On the right, a Nirvakalpa from the Malabar Coast of India. A bronze Byzantine Cross. An actual ancient artifact gifted Spirit Heart Sanctuary from a private collection in the Middle East. A beautiful sculpture carved in stone representing the sacred dance of the trinitarian energies, and the ecstatic embrace of the masculine and feminine polarities of humanity with the Divine One. Three custom chalices made with alchemically enhanced glass. The Chalice of the Saf-fire Blood in the center, the Chalice of the Cyrstalline Ruby [Christ] Ray on the left, and the Chalice of the Emerald Fire on the right. There is much esoteric significance to these chalices. We'll be glad to share more with you while you are here on rereat. A large Atlantean record keeper crystal, also know as the "dolphin crystal" on the left, an unusually large piece of stillbite on the right [a purification stone]. A small altar of its own for Quan Yin as the feminine representative of the Boddhisattva Vow of Divine Service to humanity. She holds a vase filled with the "eternal nectar of compassion" against her heart. A tribute to the Risen One Isho'a [Yeshua], but also to the Risen One within us all. Note the little Ganesha deity sitting up behind the "Risen One" overseeing things. There is quite a story that goes along with the five tablet fragments which are in the small box on the left of this altar. They came from Mt. Sinai, and were found as predicted by Thoth by a colleague named Estrella back in 1989. Thoth at that time prophesied several events that would occur in relation to these tablets [in addition to the fact that they would be found], and the prophesies have all manifested. We await further instruction from the Illumined Ones as to their future destiny. An altar dedicated to the Hermetic Wisdom which was the foundation of the advanced Egyptian religion, and later made its way into Christianity and formed much of the basis for the Christian legends, myths and "original" doctrines. Note the cross at the top: it represents the "Risen Christ" which is the culmination of the ancient Hermetic Wisdom coming to fruition in an enlightened humanity. This is the home right now for the Iao Crystal. In Hawaiian "iao" means "Supreme Light." The Iao Crystal is a rare and unsual large geode filled with incredible selenite cyrstals.
A small altar in the Aloha Guest Room dedicated to honoring the huge Shiva Lingham which is not too far from here in the Hindu San Marga Sanctuary. Peering at the main building from under the gorgeous banyan tree. The Ti plant and its leaves were considered sacred to the Hawaiians. It was often planted around homes and buildings to ward off the evil spirits [to keep the energy pure].
Pihanakalani Sanctuary has a LOT of Ti growing here, especially around the buildings. Lemons Hawaiian size! These are as large as large oranges! One of the many exotic flowers and fruits that grace Pihanakalani Sanctuary. The Aloha Guest Room bedroom. Sleeps two. The twin beds can be put together to make a King bed for couples. Looking at the closet entry and linen chest. Has a nice view of some ginger and greenery and the skyline traced by the magical "Tor" hill behind the building. A semi-private dining area. A semi-private kitchen area that can be used when desired by persons staying in the Aloha Guest Room. A semi-private reading area for Aloha Guest Room guests. We are in the process of finishing this area, and it will in time be used for a healing room and possibly a meeting area as well.

One of the many varieties of Heliconia in Hawai'i Looking to the north on Pihanakalani Sanctuary you peer up a steep hillside into blue skies with puffy clouds drifting lazily overhead. Looking at Pihanakalani Cottage from the road where you drive into the property. Looking at Pihanakalani Cottage from the back. It is quite private here as you can see. This is the living/dining area in Pihanakalani Cottage. There are two of these built-in sitting-sleeping benches in the living-dining area of the cottage. They serve to sleep an extra two people [4 total] when needed. They are quite comfortable with 6" of foam, and we have full bedding sheet sets and regular sleeping pillows for guests sleeping on them.
The Pihanakalani Cottage has a full kitchen. Bathroom. Full shower with tub. Bedroom with queen bed. Has its own sliding glass door for an outside entry. Bedroom. Tropical bamboo theme. Has beautiful orange blossoms most of the time. The African Tulip tree drops its blooms in great numbers all the time. They result in this carpet of large orange blossoms which is quite striking.
