Giclée Archival Prints Information

Giclée [ph. jhee-clay] archival prints are printed on an acid-free heavy weight archival type matte paper [cannot be rolled very easily] suitable for museum type use. The inks used in the process are pigmented and not dyes as in standard ink jet type printing processes.  The colors are thus richer and more accurate, and the detail in the prints is better.  The prints also will last much longer than other types of prints. Giclée prints are used the world over for fine art reproduction.
