Since my spirit heart sanctuary is outside, the first thing I always notice
is the wind. It's like walking out to be cleansed and renewed. In my
busy life, (four kids 15- 5 that are home schooled) - along with working from
home, walking out to the garden is usually the only break in the day. So
it is a true heart sanctuary for me. My children also behave differently
in the garden (usually). If I'm sitting in one of my special chairs,
the kids are quieter and usually even speak softer. For me it's like intense
gentleness, but at the same time a stripping away happens. Every day
there is a time to sit and quiet myself and radiate love to all that is - a
calling of the Great Heart of us all. . .
The mural on the wall was painted over the course of a summer a few years
ago. The angels were originally only going to be little fairy
lights, but my then 3 year old decided we needed a big angel. . . and
painted a large white blob in the middle of the mural. It blended
nicely into a large angel! Don't angels like to first appear as
spheres of light, anyway? The temple was just what I sensed should be
there. The waterfall and the hidden valley, the trees and the
rocks, all had meaning and beauty at the time they were painted. I never
know what will show up in my paintings. . . each one is a prayer and a
link to the Source of All Love. Every time I look upon the mural or
the angel paintings I learn something new or see something new that I
never noticed before. It's a grateful heart that I have for being the
hand that painted them. Enjoy!
The following is a follow-up from Gwen after she
dedicated her spirit heart sanctuary with a prayer and some small gifts we
send out to all who send photos to be included on this website aspect of the
Spirit Heart Sanctuary Global Project.
Here is the picture I took on the day that the rose quartz heart was
dedicated in my spirit heart sanctuary. It was placed on the IAC symbol
card on top of a sunflower plant. It was very bright and sunny that
day. This was taken after I said the prayer you gave me (which was just
beautiful) ~ Love, Gwen
