The Chapel of the Little Flower is Spirit Heart Sanctuary's
chapel at our main location in Santa Fe, NM. This chapel was originally
consecrated on June 22, 2001. It has been and still is a work in progress. We
re-dedicated the chapel to be our spirit heart sanctuary and aligned it to the
SHS Global Project intentions in November, 2002.
The chapel is named after St. Terese of Lisieux. She is known
to many as "The Little Flower." Her mystical philosophy was
"the little way of love" over the big way of the world. Her
spiritual presence presented itself to us in may ways during the few months
just prior to the chapel's original consecration. We thus made her the patron
saint of the chapel.
The presence of Isho'a,
the Master of Love and an excellent example of the Christos incarnate, is also
quite prominent and powerful in this chapel. Chapel of the Little Flower has many sacred objects,
artifacts, relics as well as representations of different spiritual traditions within
it. We will be adding further representations of various major
spiritual/religious traditions in the world as we further develop the chapel.
We can seat about 15 people [more if people sit on cushions on
the floor] in the chapel when we do ceremony or hold local gatherings. We have
held a vast variety of services and ceremonies in this small chapel since it
was opened to the public in Summer 2001.
