click on photos below to view larger versions bedroom bedroom bedroom dining kitchen reading area   This is a handsome little self-contained guest room and living area in a quiet and semi-private setting that is in our home. Excellent views of the very sacred and quite famous Mt. Wai'ale'ale are available from the property. Fresh fruit is often available for the picking as well.  We have jabon [Chinese grapefruit], oranges, lemons, limes, kumquat, coffee and banana that are producing fruit, and papaya, starfruit, lychee and avocado that have not yet reached maturity.

This is a smoke-free and fragrance-free zone. Many of our guests are environmentally and chemically sensitive, as are we. We thus strive to clean and maintain the buildings and property here with a minimum of chemicals and artificial fragrances. As such, we do not allow burning of incense, smudge, sage or moxsa inside the buildings, and prohibit smoking of all sorts indoors and outdoors. Because guests in the Aloha Guest Room are in a shared living environment [albeit semi-private] with us we also ask that no products with fragrances like shampoos, rinses, deodorants, hairsprays, colognes and perfumes and so forth be used. If you have any such products that you think might be OK, please check with us before using them. Spiritual retreatants will find that the privacy and solitude here are conducive to deep meditations and other inner spiritual work, as is the energy of this place. Children and pets are not allowed in these accommodations. Up to 2 persons can stay here. Our home and offices are on the second floor here. We are generally quiet people though and certainly will be respectful of our retreatant's needs for peace and quiet as well. The kitchen, dining, bathroom and reading room areas are shared areas and cannot be considered private. Only the Aloha Guest Bedroom can be considered completely private within these accommodations.  We use a portion of the kitchen, fridge and cupboards for storing some of our own extra food supplies, and may use the bathroom at times. We additionally are using a portion of the reading room for a healing and gathering room. However, that said, our guests are able to use whatever portion of the kitchen storage that is available, and it does have the basic equipment and utensils wherein you can prepare simple meals while you are here.  We ask that no type of cooking that would generate smoke or animal/seafood protein odors be performed. There is no phone in the Aloha Guest Room or shared area. If you need to use a phone you can ask to use our private business line on occasion. We discourage regular phone use for obvious reasons. The spiritual energy here is also very special and quite powerful.
